What about reviving the idea of member’s private cars? A few years ago, Dennis suggested having a gathering of the member’s private railroad “President’s Cars” – would it be feasible to resurrect that?
What do you mean by “members’ private cars”? Like a private business car for each member? That would be cool. Do you envision them in an excursion consist to be run on special occasions?
Yes, business cars from each member’s “home” railroad – for example, mine would be the president’s car for the branch line as yet unnamed in my railroad room. As far as running them on the BCRR, either a special excursion train, or even special orders to add one on to the occasional passenger run.
