Santa Fe Pumphouse
This is a scratch built structure using styrene.
Construction
The main wall sections were constructed using .060 thick styrene with strips cut and added to simulate board and batten construction. Roof was made of .032 plywood added to roof structure without regard to lighting. Roll roofing was added and painted to complete construction.
Detail
Most detail is in the board by board construction. A little roof detail was added to give it the finishing touch.
Conformity
This structure follows the general design and color of many buildings on the Santa Fe lines. The plan is from an article in Model Railroader.
Finish
The finish was airbrushed using Floquil paints. Weathering was applied using acrylic paints.

Structure is scratch built using sheet styrene.
