Shadrack Welding
This is a structure made from kit number 265, manufactured by Fine Scale Miniatures.
Construction
This kit included everything to make a completed structure. Materials include metal castings, strip wood and materials to make the roof and it’s details. Building was completed as several sub-assemblies then assembled into the final form for appearance according to the instructions.
Detail
Many details were added to the roof, such as vents, signs, turbines, and piping. Details were also added to the walls. Most of the detail was added to the loading dock along with the scenery after the building was installed on the layout.
Conformity
Building was constructed for the most part according to the plans supplied. Represents a large manufacturing and storage facility.
Finish
The finish was airbrushed using Floquil paints. Weathering was applied using acrylic paints.
